Time is a Flower

Description

An Integrated Arts Unit inspired by Time is a Flower by Julie Morstad.

A beautiful exploration of how time can be many different things – a waiting seed, a blooming flower, or a memory…

Using visual arts, writing, drama, dance, baking, and gardening we’ve created a fun, playful inquiry unit appropriate for Primary/Junior students, exploring the following Big Ideas:

  • Exploring time
  • Time can feel fast or slow
  • Sometimes time is waiting
  • Time can be a memory
  • Time feels different for everyone.
  • Decolonization of time.
